Polymers or resin wear out from UV rays and heat. Silvagrip® is unaffected by the sun and handles deck temperatures up to 300°F.

All other peel and stick options use a polymer or resin on a paper substrate with abrasives deposited in the resin.  Silvagrip® was Peel tested per ASTM D3330 on a heated substrate of 150F and 200F. In almost every Peel Test, Silvagrip® had twice the adhesion vs our competition (as measured by the amount of grams required to remove).

Even in 420F plus degrees Silvagrip® holds it’s coeficient of friction.  Resin based peel and stick  do not.
